Shivani Suresh

DPhil student

Shivani is a DPhil student at DPUK, supervised by Dr. Vanessa Raymont and Prof. Sarah Bauermeister. Her DPhil research focusses on the feasibility and utility of blood biomarkers in Alzheimer’s disease.

Before beginning her DPhil, Shivani worked as a Research Assistant at the Oxford Department of Pharmacology and at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience, and was then on the research team at two healthcare start-ups in India. She also holds an MSc in Clinical and Therapeutic Neuroscience from the University of Oxford, and a BSc in Biochemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India.
