Dhriti Ratra

DPhil student

Dhriti is a DPhil student in Psychiatry supervised by Prof. Sarah Bauermeister at Dementias Platform UK (DPUK) and Dr. Francine Toye at the Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) NHS Foundation Trust. Her research explores the culturally diverse concept of ‘successful ageing’ and what it means for adults in India.

Before starting a DPhil, Dhriti worked as a Research Fellow at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. She has an MSc in Clinical Psychology from University College London (2017-18).

Her research interests lie in cultural psychology, particularly concepts of well-being, anxiety, and depression, and how mental health treatments can be personalised for adults based on their unique demographic profiles.
