Dr Liang Wang

DPhil student

Liang is a DPhil student at the Dementia Platform UK (DPUK), supervised by Prof. Sarah Bauermeister and Prof. John Gallacher. Her research focuses on the impact of childhood adversity on the development of dementia, specifically investigating the mediating role of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in older adults.

Prior to her DPhil, Liang completed an MSc in Musculoskeletal Science with a Dean's List award from University College London. She also has experience as a medical doctor and hopes to contribute to dementia prevention and elderly healthcare.
