Jerry Tan

Academic Clinical Fellow

Jerry is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow supervised by Dr Ivan Koychev at the University of Oxford. His current research interests include the physiological and genetic mechanisms affecting amyloid and tau accumulation in Alzheimer’s Disease, and the impact of co-pathology on clinical phenotype in dementia. Clinically, Jerry completed his medical training in Newcastle and Cambridge and now works as a NHS resident doctor in mental health. When not in the lab or on the ward, he can be found singing (or enjoying!) choral evensong in one of the many chapels of the city of dreaming spires.
