Keynote speaker Professor Charlotte Teunissen from Amsterdam UMC reviewed what is happening and concluded with the encouraging news that plasma biomarker research into Alzheimer's Disease is really surging ahead at speed.
Reflecting the international effort in dementia research, she was followed by Dr. Do-Geun Kim from the Korea Brain Research Institute. Research in this area is a truly global effort and the networks of academic centres involved is proving valuable in making progress.
